Are these titanium stud earrings hypoallergenic?
Yes. ASTM F136 implant grade titanium contains no nickel and no lead. It's the same grade used in surgical implants.
Can I shower or swim in these?
The titanium stud is fully waterproof, but the pearl is a genuine cultivated pearl and isn't. Take Mila off before showering, swimming, or sweating heavily to keep the pearl in good condition.
Will the titanium tarnish?
No. Pure titanium doesn't tarnish, discolour, or fade over time.

What makes our earrings so skin friendly?
Titanium : All our earrings are made in ASTM F-136, which is a biocompatible, implant grade titanium that is commonly used in the medical industry. Due to its hypoallergenic properties, titanium is often used to make body implants such as metal screws and plates. Being biocompatible, the body is not likely to reject the metal or become allergic to it, which is what other metals such as brass, stainless steel, sterling silver and even surgical steel often do.
Special PVD coating: Our special 18K gold PVD coating gives the earrings their luxurious look but at the same time keeping the earring hypoallergenic – because the pin, backer and areas in direct contact with the pierced skin are not coated, just pure titanium, so you can enjoy earrings that does not irritate or itch. PVD coating is a high-tech process that involves depositing a layer of gold onto the surface of the base metal using a vacuum coating process. This creates a layer of gold that is extremely durable and more long-lasting than traditional gold plating. With PVD coating, you can both shower, swim and sweat while wearing your earrings without them rust, tarnish, loosing or change color.
